Galerie Bokeh shows contemporary photographers into a restored hotel particulier in Tarascon, between the Alpilles and the Camargue, a stone's throw from King René's castle. A place open to all, connoisseurs and the simply curious alike.
High ceilings, generous volumes, an Italian-style inner courtyard lined with balconies and terraces, a Renaissance fountain: the architecture plays with light and the coolness of stone, giving the images a setting worthy of them.
From spring 2027, works will be presented to exacting professional standards: carefully crafted prints on selected fine art papers, with hanging and lighting tailored to each exhibition.
Run by a non-profit association, the gallery champions precise, curious curation, devoted to photographers and their artistic work: images chosen to be lingered over.
Behind the Lens
Founder of Galerie Bokeh, Sylvie Soulier opens a new chapter after a long career in the business world.
As a partner at EY Global, she advised the audit and accounting professions on ethics and independence at an international level.
She now brings to this artistic project the same values that guided her professional life: rigor, professionalism, a strong sense of ethics, and respect for both artists and audiences.
Through Galerie Bokeh, she aims to share her sensitivity to light and space, while providing a place of dialogue and support for emerging artists, allowing heritage and contemporary creation to resonate together.
